Power in the scriptures

Wasssupppp so this week Elder Pilling hits up Oxnard with Elder Drury (personal fav), had a zone video conference call, and hit up Westlake with Elder Jones from the MTC (wealthiest area in the mish).

So yah Tuesday we drove to the Nard and had exchanges with the Assistants. I've been comps with both of them ,Elder Goodman and Elder Drury, so it's always a good time down there. Plus it's the best finding and baptizing in the mission because it's pretty much Mexico. Lol. We really talked a lot about the mission and the zone. Leaving the exchange Elder Tanner and I introduced an accountability process with the missionaries in the zone. Pretty neat. First you measure it, then you report it and that's where the money is at.

Oh my goodness, so Wednesday we had a KILLER lesson with Charlotte S. We started teaching her the plan of Salvation and I loved it because we were just bouncing scriptures off each other the whole time. Oh isn't that legit?? I quote a scripture and she is mouthing the words along with me. We got into some deep stuff and when it hit Adam and Eve she at first was hesitant, but then fell in love with 2 Nephi 2. Oh it was beautiful. Not to mention the part when we talked about our life on earth and its purpose.
1. Faith.
2. Repentance
3. Baptism Matt. 3
4. Gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 19
5. Endure.

It was super good, we invited her to be baptized March 30th and she said yes:)!  We focused on the Holy Ghost and how she will be such an impact on the ward because of her knowledge. Super good. Super spirit. Love the scriptures. Like people do you even read the scriptures?? They are the best things in the world. To be able to read and feel the power in them and to know without a doubt that they correspond with the Lord's restored Church is so good. Love it.

Anyway, then Thursday we had a couple Lessons. One with James, a new guy which went really well. He really needs the peace of Christ. We also met with Andy, he's a tough nut to crack...

Oh and 3 peeps came to church which is killer. Karl, Emma, and  Charlotte. Pretty good Stuff.

OH MY GOODNESS I ALMOST FORGOT. I went to Moorpark to train an elder how to do member visits and we did one with GEORGE OH MY GOSH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. We are so tight and it's like I never ever left. Oh and he is SOOOOO converted it's legit. What a solid convert. He was so down to do missionary work. Literally asked him what brings him joy and he said, "Well. Jesus Christ... and the gospel."  Oh precious.

Cool people. Well my thumbs hurt and and we are getting 15.1 MPG so gotta go lol.

Byeeeee
