So Charlotte is totally gonna be baptized on the 30th. She's doing her 3 week Word of Wisdom fast now and then she'll be good to go for life. It was actually a really interesting lesson. Something you should all know about Charlotte is that in all our lessons we've had, she SINGS, like actually breaks out in song. She's actually pretty good and it's spiritual songs. It's classic. She's a joy to teach and be with. Definitely a people person.
Okaiiiii well what else, on Tuesday we had an exchange 💱 with some Elders in Agoura Hills which is 51% Jewish. I actually stayed in T. O. had a great day, talked to an person from India. Neat stuff.
Blah blah blah the Malibu is still legit. We learned some new tricks with it haha pretty sendy.
So yah let's see then Thursday's day was awesome as well. We were in a trio with Elder Seversike who is a stellar missionary on his 2nd transfer. His companions went to Oxnard for training so we pulled him aside to train him lol. It was sweet. That's when we taught Charlotte and Andy which BTW Andy is doing much better. Very spiritual lesson that was super directed to his likes and personality. He is also going to switch out his xx1 1x11 with an Eagle grouping. He seems pretty excited about that.
Saturday was really good because I spent the day in Moorpark. Glorious Walnut Canyon ward! It was fantastic! They have some neat things going on, had 3 lessons and it was very productive. We even met with George again. Man, it's been 15 or so months since I started teaching him and he continues to surprise me with how converted he is. What a glorious day. We even had a guy I met a year ago call me out and say, "Where have you been, I haven't seen you in a while." lol yah it's been about a year. And he called to us from his yard. Classic.
Well things are good. OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BEST PART OF THE WEEK
So on Sunday we go to church (surprise) and sit down in our usual spots when the meeting began. Then a few minutes in Charlotte shows up. Yay we fist bump. Then a few more minutes and Andy shows up, we fist bump again. And then a few minutes later PHILLIP, LAUREN, GREGORY, SARAH, AND VINCENT SHOW UP!!! yah so that's a family of 5 that we had heard about but never met. They moved here 2 weeks ago from Carolina and since it was fast Sunday the dad got up and bore his testimony that he knows this is where they need to be. He loves the church's standards and values. Oh all the members were looking at us hahaha. We slipped in there and WOW they are just so incredible. In 25 months I've never even heard of this happening. It was a miracle FOR SURE. So that's how our week ended.
Adios! We're gonna do a hike today.
