Well fellas this week Elder Pilling goes biking, has orange juice, rips a shirt and recognizes that that was a bad idea.
So yah let's start with the shirt... It was a Wednesday and everything we had scheduled canceled, which was just trash. So we decided to spoil ourselves with some ice-cream on our way home. We'll we chose the WORST option possible going to Frank's hot dogs...terrible soft serve in a tiny cone for $3. Ugh it was hilarious but so stupid. Then we got back to the apt and I looked at my long sleeve short and said, "It's kinda dirty" and then I shredded it... Then about 2 seconds later I regretted it because now I only have 1 long sleeve lol.
Thursday the assistants came to SLO to save our miles which was very kind of them and I spent the day with Elder Barzee from Mud Lake Idaho. He's a dairy farmer haha. Anyway they drove up the Tacoma from Oxnard so we had the only trucks in SLO. They brought up a bike for me to ride and we shredded up a mountain. It was pretty fun even though it was cold. Anyway I drove the taco, sadly was unimpressed with the power... Everything else was better than the Frontier. And no, we didn't race. We respect the mission cars, alright!
Sunday was a really cool day because Junior was at church 3 hrs, he was ordained to the office of deacon and got his temple recommend!!! We even took him to go visit Wendy, this is the Wendy who is really struggling with drugs and alcohol. Later Sunday night, Junior Texted us and said that today was really inspiring and how he clearly saw that missionary work was going to be hard but how it's totally worth it because we are able to help them be better. It was so cool!
Then Sunday night we had this very cool contact with Shyanne. She's seeking for something and we made a deal. It's very unusual. So she is going to meet with missionaries for the month of January, as well as come to church weekly and in return we are going Vegan... Monday-Friday all of January... Elder Drury agreed to it before me ok! I don't know what we were thinking BUT she is seriously Elect!!
Well I'm done. I sense these are getting weaker and weaker. Usually happens when you've been in an area for a minute.
