It is good to share the gospel

Hello hello! It's been a great week here in the great California Ventura mission. The highlights go as follows:

1. Esteban C. He missed church last week and we finally made it over to his house Wednesday night. He told us about an experience he had.  He said something like, "I sat in my room, I turned off all distractions like you told me, and I read about the pre-earth life. I understand it now, the spirit taught me. And don't worry I'll be at church on Sunday".  It was good to hear that he followed our teaching on how he can have his own spiritual experience. It was touching. Then Sunday came around and we texted him a reminder and he said, "I am already on my way"!  So that was the best part. He stayed both hours and during Elders Quorum opened up and shared an experience about his kids. He was crying and loving every second of it! The fact that it happened to him was so nice. He's a really good father.

2. Jonathan. He's still plugging away and we had a lesson all about how God creates a plan when he asks us to do something. He said, "When I keep the commandments I'm becoming just like Jesus!" He is very excited to become as He is. We invited him to be baptized and he said, "Oh no I can't get baptized tomorrow!!!" Kind a funny he thought it was for the following day. Anyway he wants to follow Jesus and be baptized he just has a few things to work on and overcome. He is one of my favs.

We made a whole pan of banana pudding because it's Elder Drury's fav dessert.

A whole bunch else happened this week. It was very busy with lessons and meetings. It is good to share the gospel.

Shout out to Jaxen P. For heading on the mission. It's funny, we pick up the new missionaries today and every transfer we do, they are like deer 🦌 in the headlights hahaha.  But we help them out. Funny stuff.

Love all you people.  We hope you enjoy your week (lol we think plural always because you have a companion always).
