New companion

Well people of other parts, so SO SO much has happened this week it's ridiculous. 

This week Elder Pilling gets a new companion, moves, launches a baseball bat out of the bed of the truck, and sees a baptism:)

Tuesday I picked up Elder Drury, he was around me in Moorpark. He's from Bluffdale Ut. He's a state champ water skier, tall, great work ethic, is the oldest of 4. And he also got me a Costco card so #Blessup

After we dropped some other elders off we had little time to proselyte before dinner so we went by a lady I recently met named Anne. She was again very happy to see us and we were able to share a very powerful restoration with her. One of the , if not the, most spiritual contact in my life. It went so great! She loves a modern prophet and was very excited to read his talks. She was literally the only person we went to before we had other commitments and wow miracle. Then we shopped at Costco and that was so much fun! So many people shop there it's hilarious. Loved it. 

Wednesday was Thanksgiving eve so we helped feed the community a turkey dinner. I cut up about 10 Costco pumpkin pies and then we hand delivered the meals to people, one of them being Mardal!! She was so happy to see us. Awe so sweet. That was neat. 

Thursday we fully cleaned out our old apartment with the senior missionaries.  They had missionaries there for 3 years and so we took 3 loads of garbage to the dumpster... So. Much. Stuff it was insane. Glad to be done and glad to move. Our new apartment is a 3 min walk from downtown:) and Thanksgiving was sweet. Had a nice turkey ham dinner thing and guess what!?!! Pecan pie is my new favourite, it's absolutely delicious. Never had it before but snap it is good. Anyway enough about pie. We had a beautiful dinner and I'm still confused why thanksgiving is a thing... Anyway it's all good. 

Then let's see, we had a baptism!! So we planned all this jazz up and then Saturday came and we had some good lessons, Laverne the 90 Yr old has been coming along actually really good. We had a great lesson!! Then we had a lesson with Bubba and Wendy... Well we can't talk about that one... Little sketch. No worry tho because we shredded over to fill up the font. Had a great service with Junior, he asked that I baptize him and let's be real, nailed it perfectly. Should curl some more weights tho imma little weak... Lol but really it was so sweet and he was so happy to take this step forward. It was actually really great, 2 months ago almost exactly we had our first lesson! Now it's just time for his Madre. 

Sunday was also very good because he was confirmed. He had a wonderful blessing from Bishop Platt and that was precious as well. He even let us meet his friend after church and they are looking for a church! Hopefully that pans out. 

And in between all this, Elder Drury and I have been getting little proselyting done... We have been helping out everybody, setting baptism goals, going on splits, teaching etc but it's been rewarding non the less. Love it all!! 

And here we are now on Monday. Just like that. Been crazy but we are getting ready for MLC on Tuesday AGAIN! months just keep coming faster and faster. Then Saturday Elder Neil L. Anderson is coming so that'll be a great moment. Exciting times.  

Don't really know what else to say, this was a pretty week email haha but this week was a fat blur so I don't even know what happened... 29 days until Christmas!! Remember it's all about Jesus and have a blessed week.
