Hello Friends

I title this "hello friends" because I assume If you are wasting your precious time reading this it must be because you are a friend of mine =) so thank you so much!!

This week was spectacular...kind of

To start I got a new companion, Elder Goodman, who is fantastic by the way. He is 19 graduated in '17 like me, shorter than me but barely. Is really cool and we get a long just great. Like fantastic actually. He is very good in lessons, we just bounce off each other, it's great. He's super patient with me (which is needed cause I am not overly organized...because there's so many people we've met lately!) And he's just great. So he came in Tuesday and since then it's been go go go.

Elder Goodman
This week was cool though! We taught people, and found people, and got a new investigator this week! Richard, the friend with the pro master utility van which he is converting into a camper van. I've been working with him for quite some time now and this past visit we really expressed what our purpose is, why we do it, our goal with meeting with people, how we are raised as people, the church's standards, and a whole lot of other things! It was great and next visit will be fantastic! I believe anyway😀
For P day we went to one of those trampoline parks and it was so Sweet! Best thing I've done on P day (except the time members took us mountain biking) since being out here.  It was a super cool place! Did like all these cool things and things. Very difficult to explain what we did so in very basic terms, jumped on trampolines.

Oh so we've discovered something from our friend George.  If the fruit is hanging over the sidewalk, it's free game. So we got 4 avocados and 1 orange last night, 4 oranges Friday night, and some limes. It's great!!!!! Not really ripe yet but that's ok, they are free!

Free fruit!

Oh also we went out to dinner with Nancy and George (Nancy returning less active member and George, her husband who is investigating) to my favourite place El Tapateo and they got us horchada which is delicious btw. And 3 carnitas tacos. It's a delicious little joint. But George is doing really great, Nancy is still hilarious, if not more fun than before, so it's all going well.

Pretty much the extent of the week, well except Norm. So we do service for Norm, have lunch, and teach gospel principles and this guy is a character. He knows every roper from here and around the world and back. He loves talking about calf roping and it's kinda interesting but we've been seeing him progress little by little in his faith which is also good!!

Now that's pretty much the extent of the week=☆》●□♤♡◇♧¿¡☆▪¤

Much love,

Elder Joseph gene Pilling
