Forgot to send last week

Last week's email. I totally thought I sent it...oops

Well this week was excellent. Elder Pilling sees Junior, Laverne, Victoria, and the old stomping grounds. I also enjoyed swimming. Haha totally joking. 

So here's the dealio. Monday night was the baptism of Honest and Sincere Watson. Oh my sweet spirit, was it wonderful! Their dad who was baptized almost a year ago so he baptized them and then Elder Drury and I had the opportunity to confirm them members of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day. You felt the completeness of the family at that occasion. I love that family so much!! Oh it was wonderful. 

After the baptism there were about a 1000 different sweets and things and I didn't even have anything. What's up!

Tuesday I spent the day with Elder Seversike. Pretty neat.  We saw a lot of success and found 2 new friends in that one day. After our exchange, we drove up together to Santa Maria and met up with President Nakken to finish some planning items. Elder Drury and I then got back together and we drove via vehicle to SLO where we had an hour to work. Sooooooo we hit up Victoria and Oso who were some of our fav friends in SLO. That was really good. Then we saw Junior and Veronica!! 

We taught them and then set up a lesson for the other elders to teach. Which BTW they taught and said it went really good! Veronica still isn't a member... But it was so good to see junior! Been so long. After we taught junior we saw Laverne who I haven't seen since her baptism and she is still so happy and positive. She sure does love missionaries:) I love her sweet 90 year old spirit. 

Then Thursday we were up in atascadaro and it was close to 100F and that was straight trash. Here in the Nard it doesn't get hotter than 74F so that's a big difference. Had a good exchange there and Elder Drury ate a 5Lb burger hahaha it was pretty insane my goodness it was funny tho. He did it but it wasn't super smooth... 

Last up was a lesson with Joel. He doesn't have his own light. So let's picture this, you are in a field with a bunch of people. Everyone has a flashlight except you. You would be able to see anything you wanted to see because of the light that's around you. Continue to picture yourself in the field and now turn off everyone else's flashlights. How can you see? Well you can't. You need to get your own light, even if you can see perfectly fine right now, the light of others won't last forever. So figure it out. You have got to know that this is the church of Jesus Christ. This is the truth and the way back to God, our Heavenly Father. Everything is coming forth in this last and final dispensation.
