Well hello all you people who read this useless and uninformative email. My name is Elder Pilling and I'm here to share with you that cereal ruins eating habits. Because I do not like soggy cereal, I eat it very quickly therefore, when I eat other foods I eat them very quickly... thus causing the bad eating habits. Although I do recognize the people who like soggy cereal. Won't mention any names but he likes diet coke so much that he got a car that looks just like the can:)
Well I will also share other things.
This has possibly been the best week ever. At least the best Sunday ever. I will explain, last Monday I was asked to speak the following Sunday, on whatever I wanted. Tuesday idk, Wednesday was whack because we left SLO at 7pm to drive down to Oxnard. Which is just over a 2 hr drive. We arrive at the assistant's place just after 9 pm. We chat sleep and then get to work the following morning. I was with Elder Robins. One of my favourites. He leaves in 4 weeks back to rural Utah. We drove the Toyota Sienna all day and what a mini van! Had some cool discussions with people and also with each other. He was able to improve and help me:) We had dinner at one of the most interesting dinners of my life and then guess what? We went to the baptism of Maricella Compos. Yes I have successfully brought someone into the waters of baptism. Although I was only with her for 6 weeks and it's taken 9 months, it happened and I cherished my time with her and was very lucky to have attended. It was all in Spanish so I don't know what was said, but it was still beautiful. She will be an amazing member and kingdom builder! Truly blessed.

Maricella's baptism |
So that was amazing. Since the baptism went long we stayed another night in Oxnard with the assistants. Left just before 7am home. We arrived in Paso Robles at 10:17am just in time for district council. Amazing. Then helped companionship's set baptismal goals. Wonderful!! Loved it. Then went to Morro Bay to minister to some sisters and do more baptism goals. Then finally arrived home at 5:15pm to have dinner. Crazy day. Drive 260miles...our limit is 1200 for the whole month and we just about did half in 3 days... Lol. Any who then it was Saturday, neat yah whatever and Sunday the best day of my life.
Started off with our church services. We were expecting 3 people. 1 came:( had some amazing talks by Elli and Brad. Ellie shared her testimony from EFY and Brad talked about ministering and missionary work. I also slipped in there with a talk of my own. I shared some thoughts about conversion. Just read Helaman 15:7-8 and you should figure it out. Just remember faith is a principle of action. After church we did other stuff. Surprise! Just kidding. It was crazy. Then had a lesson with a new friend Terry. Boom! Then found this other guy Robert, boom! 2 blessings. Then YSA sisters text us and say they have someone for us to teach. Boom! Miracle after miracle. At the beginning of the transfer there were 4 people being taught. We dropped 3 of them. Then we didn't have anyone, pray pray pray, ponder ponder ponder, repent, pray, ponder, work your tail off, work, talk to everyone and the Lord will provide. We found 3 new people to teach this week. Hector, Terry, and Robert. What a blessed week. Not even to mention the wonderfulness the zone is seeing. 10 people are set with a baptismal date. 10! Never been in a zone with that many, ever. Lots of hard work.
I don't even know if you people like the day by day stuff. Sometimes it's okay I guess. So hard to fit in all the goods and miracles and spiritual stuff. Oh and I forgot we taught Tom and Carol the restoration. At their front door. Here's how the convo went.
1. Us: I like your blue door
2. Her: My daughter just got her wisdom teeth out, how was your elder's recovery when you got them out, (she didn't call us elders)
3: us: Missionaries come by often?
4: them (husband joined) : yes
5: them: what message do you share?
6 us: the message of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Boom this lead into one of the most spiritual unexpected restorations ever. They got hit with the spirit. You could literally see it happen after the first vision. They were stunned. Very active in their Catholic church and said, "I'm skeptical". We said, "Well here take this evidence, it's called the Book of Mormon and if you read it, ponder it, and pray about it you will be converted even more to the Saviour Jesus Christ. Pamphlet included:)" Best sales pitch ever. Hahaha wasn't like that, kind of tho.
Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls atheists and religionists, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the church Christ established just over 2000 yrs ago. It is the same church with the priesthood power the apostles were ordaining to their ministers in Acts 6:6. Even done by the laying on of hands! There is NO other church that has this authority. The authority to perform saving ordinances, and even regular ones. If they claim it. They are in vain. If they believe it, then they don't know what they believe. I know it because I know this is the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and it is true. The 📙 Book of Mormon is true and we have prophets, seers and revelators. who open us up to spiritual and scripture cannons. It's a wonderful time and a scary time. Do not get caught up in the vain things of the world. I don't care if it's the hit TV show. I don't care if its the white girl coffee drink of the year. I don't care cause God doesn't want that. He wants faithful servants who minister. To the members and non members.
If your best friend does not know what the Book of Mormon or where the Book of Mormon came from then take up a challenge and Share it.
"Hey Francesco you know I'm a mormon, have I been able to share where the Book of Mormon came from to you before? cause it certainly didn't come from Satan:)" I know that's very not polite or detailed but I can't tell you what to do. But if you aren't willing to share what keeps your whole religion together then something. Idk. But that's probably not good.
Thanks for reading this mess. This is true. God lives, he loves you. Just ask and he will answer.
